Dr. Appleton: We really like to try to create an environment that is relaxed for the patient. Going to the dentist is a stressful environment for most patients. Male Patient 2: Dr. Appleton, he's really good at his craft. He knows what he's doing. I'm one of these people that don't like to come to the dentist. He makes you comfortable, lets you know what's going on. He tells you everything he's doing. Female Patient 2: No matter how many times I would ask Dr. Appleton the same question, he would answer it as if it were the first time I'd asked. He was patient. Christopher Braud: I think he has a way of connecting with patients, and it's kind of unique in a different way. Knowledge and skill-wise is always foremost the most important. But having those connections and earning the patient's trust is, I think, right up there. Dentist Assistant: The doctors here are one of a kind. They do great work. They believe in patient bedside manners. They're just wonderful, wonderful doctors. Dr. Appleton: Our philosophy with practice has always been to try to give the patients the best service that I can and tailor things to the patients' wants and needs. When a patient comes in and we're able to give them a new smile and to see that expression the first time they look in the mirror is really rewarding. It's really what I went into dentistry for was to help impact and make a change in people's lives.
