Meet Michael J. Appleton, DDS
Experienced, Friendly, and Compassionate
A Slidell native, Dr. Michael J. Appleton, DDS returned home after earning his degree from the LSU School of Dentistry in 1998 to open Oak Harbor Family Dentistry. For more than 20 years, he has proudly served families across the North Shore, Metairie, and surrounding communities with compassionate, high-quality care.
Known for his patient-first approach, he takes time to answer questions and ensure comfort at every visit. What he enjoys most are the lasting relationships he builds—and he finds it especially rewarding to help patients with dental anxiety achieve healthier, more confident smiles.
Meet Christopher Braud, DDS
Skilled, Caring, Welcoming
Dr. Braud is also a Slidell native who graduated from Louisiana State University. He joined our practice after completing dental school, and he now provides a range of general, cosmetic, and restorative services to our patients.
Dr. Braud is skilled at designing treatment plans that help his patients improve the appearance, function, and health of their smiles. Additionally, he always makes sure that his patients feel as comfortable and informed as possible.
Dr. Braud loves being a dentist because he gets to help the members of his hometown community.

Dr. Shelby Camp is from Bossier City, Louisiana, and is passionate about providing dental care to the community. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where she received comprehensive training in all aspects of general dentistry.
Dr. Camp is committed to making every patient feel comfortable and confident in their care. She believes in compassionate service and patient education for a healthy smile.
