A Slidell native, Dr. Michael J. Appleton, DDS returned home after earning his degree from the LSU School of Dentistry in 1998 to open Oak Harbor Family Dentistry. For more than 20 years, he has proudly served families across the North Shore, Metairie, and surrounding communities with compassionate, high-quality care.

Dr. Braud is also a Slidell native who graduated from Louisiana State University. He joined our practice after completing dental school, and he now provides a range of general, cosmetic, and restorative services to our patients.
Dr. Braud is skilled at designing treatment plans that help his patients improve the appearance, function, and health of their smiles. Additionally, he always makes sure that his patients feel as comfortable and informed as possible.
